Planning Continuing Education for SAP S/4HANA
As always, the first question to be asked is: What is the company's need at all? Do the company or the employees already have experience with SAP? What previous knowledge is available?
As always, the first question to be asked is: What is the company's need at all?Do the company or the employees already have experience with SAP? Whatprevious knowledge is available? Is it about training or certification forconsultants? Is it sufficient if the learning content is based on SAP standardinformation or does it first have to be adapted to the specific needs of thecompany? The answers to these questions provide important indications onhow to plan the relevant learning strategy and further training.
Anyone who completes the conversion to SAP S/4HANA as a company has aneed for further employee qualification in almost all areas - from IT employeesto users in accounting, who need to learn how to use the new Fiori userinterface, for example. And there is also a need for training in the consultingfirms. New technologies such as artificial intelligence or machine learning, which are also being introduced into companies with SAP S/4HANA, arecreating considerable demand for further training.
An important role in this context is also played by the fact that the entirelearning culture in companies is currently undergoing major changes: from"classical further training" with one-day or several-day training courses to agilemethods (design thinking, SCRUM, etc.) and more regular learning formats, especially on the basis of digital technologies. SAP provides tools such as "SAPEnable Now" (for the creation of e-learning materials and just-in-time help
tools) or SAP Jam (cloud-based social media platform for the exchange ofdocuments and ideas by employees).
In addition, SAP offers a wide range of training opportunities. Under "SAPEducation", SAP offers, among other things, an overview of training courses, learning software and all certification options. The SAP Learning Hub, forexample, can be used to learn online and interactively around the clock, seven days a week. The possibilities are manifold - and can be adaptedprecisely to the respective needs of a company or employee.
