Sports, music and reading. The probability is high to meet Jürgen outside of his work at one of these three hobbies. While he is more flexible when it comes to sports (racket, dumbbell, bicycle or treadmill), he is less "mobile" when it comes to music - behind the DJ desk he feels much more comfortable than on the dance floor. When reading, his interests are wide-ranging: his bookshelves and e-reader are filled with books and articles on politics and current affairs, natural sciences and philosophy. The natural sciences in particular have shaped his academic and professional path: his diploma and dissertation were written in a major research institution in the Rhineland. However, the four years of working in the world of basic research have not only strengthened Jürgen's view of the big picture, but have also awakened his desire for an international, multicultural working environment. Today Jürgen's spirit of research and creativity serve to create direct benefits for the customers of GAMBIT - especially in the area of supply chains.
JÜRGEN'S WORK AREAS
In this project Jürgen was responsible for the production and shop floor area. Among other things, a new and efficient APP for feedback and goods movements in production was developed.
In a complex and dynamic environment Jürgen implements both technology and processes for this customer. The aim is to master the life cycle of extensive product structures.
The agile Activate method used in this project for program planning and production is a perfect fit for this young high-tech company.
The greenfield approach allows GNS to use the full potential of the new SAP software generation - and cut off old habits. Jürgen is responsible for production and warehouse management.
