Before Your First Day

Before Your First Day

A few days before your first day at work, you’ll receive an email from us with some information about what to expect during your first days at GAMBIT. In addition, we’ll prepare an individual onboarding plan for you ahead of time, based on our training concept.

Your First Day at GAMBIT

Your First Day at GAMBIT

On your first day, our Head of HR, Sabine, will welcome you. After that, you’ll receive an introduction to our IT systems and be provided with your laptop, smartphone, access codes, and office key.

At lunchtime, you’ll go out to eat with your new team – a perfect opportunity to recharge and get to know your colleagues. We’ve also set aside half an hour that day for a short photo shoot.

By the evening, we hope you’ll go to bed with a great feeling – full of new impressions and excited for day two.

New Colleagues

New Colleagues

On your second day, you’ll settle into your desk and get a first impression of ongoing projects. Sabine will also introduce you to the personnel development concept and GAMBIT’s core values. Additionally, the Education Team will give you an overview of our training concept.

From the very beginning, we assign you a mentor who will support you intensively for about a year – whether you’re a beginner or a professional. At some point, you’ll take some time to write a brief introduction email to all your new colleagues.

The Training Concept

The Training Concept

The first week is done! You’ve already settled in a bit and gotten to know many of your colleagues better – also through the numerous remote sessions where the departments introduce themselves.

By now, you’re probably already attending some of the first courses in our training concept, learning the essential “basics” of SAP or project management at GAMBIT.

The First Onboarding Cycle

The First Onboarding Cycle

After about three weeks, you’ll meet for the first time with your onboarding group — a cohort of new colleagues who started around the same time as you. The session is moderated and led by Sabine, our Head of HR.

You’ll discuss your first days of onboarding, provide feedback, and raise any challenges you might be facing. You can also ask any questions you still have about working at GAMBIT.

Your First Month at GAMBIT

Your First Month at GAMBIT

You’ve now completed your first month. By now, you know your team members much better. You’re gradually getting to know everyone at GAMBIT — whether over lunch, through joint projects, or by participating in GAMBIT activities.

You already have a good sense of how people interact and how things work within the company. You’ve also had the chance to work a few days from home.

Deepening Your SAP Knowledge

Deepening Your SAP Knowledge

Your professional onboarding continues – both as part of the training concept and within your department. As a beginner, you deepen your SAP knowledge and receive additional soft skills training. If you joined GAMBIT as an experienced senior consultant, you are now taking on key project responsibilities and initial leadership roles.

The Second Onboarding Cycle

The Second Onboarding Cycle

After just over two months, your second onboarding session takes place. This is another opportunity for you to share any feedback, comments, or praise. We want to know at all times what you still need and how we can support you further in your onboarding.

100 Days at GAMBIT

100 Days at GAMBIT

By now, you’ve settled in at GAMBIT. As a beginner, after your first three months, you’re already contributing to initial projects. You’re familiar with the daily work routine and processes.

You’ve also gotten to know your colleagues even better. You’re now taking part in our sports activities – you’ve even played beach volleyball with some of them. At the end of the first three months, you’ll receive informal feedback from your manager and our Head of HR, Sabine.

What’s Next

What’s Next

Your onboarding continues even after the first 100 days. The process is not yet complete.

After six months, you will have your first structured employee review with a feedback form. Then, six months later – after your first year is already over – the onboarding period officially ends.
