Your Job as an Entry-Level Professional

As a Junior SAP Consultant, you work in a specific specialist area that you choose at the beginning of your time at GAMBIT — depending on your study focus, skills, or personal interests.

After your onboarding, you will be deployed in customer projects. There, you develop tailored solutions for the clients’ challenges and implement them in their IT and SAP systems — for example, during the introduction of a new SAP solution, in data migration, or in custom app development for companies. Last but not least, you work with your team to analyze and optimize customer processes.

We spoke to Eren Yalcin. Eren started as a Junior Consultant at GAMBIT in 2020. He previously studied production engineering at RWTH Aachen University. Today he works as a Senior Consultant in Supply Chain Management and Production.

Why did you choose GAMBIT as an employer?

What is special about working as a consultant?

The job is varied and challenging - whether thematically and professionally or in terms of working with a wide variety of people in the team or on the customer side. At the moment, I can hardly imagine anything better.

What advice would you give to someone who is interested in the profession?

There are so many ways to find information online these days. But sometimes it also makes sense to simply speak to someone in person who knows the industry and works in the job. A lot of things can be clarified much more quickly that way.
